beach party invitationsAt InvitationBox we have a great variety of invitations with beach themes. Ranging from kids themes with sand pails and toys, beach balls, sand castles and swim suits to more mature themes with watercolor ocean designs, Adirondack chairs, beach umbrellas and beach cabanas; we have the perfect beach invitation to coordinate with your theme.

beach birthday party invitationsWhen planning a kids’ beach birthday party be sure you have plenty of chaperones to watch the kids as the ocean is a very large place for wanderers. You can even invite parents to attend if that is easier. Set up fun activities like an obstacle course, sandcastle contest, water balloon fights or scavenger hunts. Be sure to have plenty of sunscreen on hand, drinks to cool everyone off and a shady spot for everyone to get out of the sun if needed. Serve up hotdogs, burgers and fun BBQ type foods. For the cake you can decorate a square or round cake to look like the ocean or a favorite sea creature. At the end of the party you can send each kid home with a sand toy or pail full of toy sea animals.

beach bash invitationsFor a more mature event, set up a beach area with tiki torches, tropical flowers, beach umbrellas, a bonfire and other tropical themed decorations. Be sure to set up plenty of beach blankets or chairs for your guests. You can spend the day in the sun catching some rays and swimming in the ocean or cool off a bit by having a late-day party that goes into the hours of the night. Be sure to have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks in addition to your alcohol to avoid dehydration. Have a BBQ or pig roast for your guests and even serve up fruity cocktails in pineapple cups – get creative! Either way, it’s all about fun in the sun with your favorite friends.

No beach in your area? Bring the beach to your backyard or just use it as your party theme…you can’t go wrong with a trip or ‘pretend trip’ to the ocean.
