A Halloween party is only as cool or as creepy as you make it. If you’re a hostess with the mostess, a traditional beer, martini or cocktail at your Halloween party certainly won’t do. We know how important it is for you to carry your party theme through from the Halloween party invitation to the party decorations, favors AND even the food & drinks.
This morning I stumbled upon Martha Stewart’s website, only to find a few amazingly cool and creepy Halloween spirits recipes, as part of her Spooky Halloween Spirits article. You’ll find recipes for the cocktails you see here, including a ghost in the graveyard, the screwed up screwdriver (my personal favorite), and the berry scary martini!
If you want to try making one of these fun cocktails, try the Ghost in the Graveyard Cocktail, which features 2 ounces of black vodka, 2 ounces of creme de cacao, 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream (yum!) and a pinch of nutmeg. First you’ll want to combine your vodka and creme de cacao and set it aside. Place one scoop of ice cream into your cocktail glass and then slowly pour your previous concoction over top of your ice cream cocktail, and watch it turn into one creepy cocktail! Don’t forget your nutmeg garnish, and serve right away before your cocktail turns into something that looks like a murky swamp!
Need a Halloween party invitation to go with your creepy cocktail idea? We’ve got you covered with an array of creepy cocktail invitations for Halloween. Choose from our Pick Your Poison invitation which features a variety of cocktail potions for this creepy day or one of our creepy spirits invitation which feature black blood dripping lime green cocktails, eyeball swizzle sticks, fly garnishes, spider cocktail visitors and glasses made of spider webs, witches hats and stacked eyeballs.
