The 4th of July is just two days away, and we have a bit of a stars and stripes fever over here at Ibox as we get ready for the holiday!  There’s so many things to celebrate on the 4th of July – from our freedom and independence to living in the land of freedom and expression.  As you get ready to celebrate our independence this week, take a few suggesions from the pros and make sure that your week is filled with fun, patriotic decor, red, white and blue outfits and of course, fireworks!

We started our Tuesday out this morning by doing our first-ever google plus hangout on air!  Lauren and I, (the DIY Divas), did a tutorial on DIY Paper Poms, as well as edible sparklers for the 4th of July.  There’s plenty of party tips on decorating your home for your 4th of July party, from poms and sweet treats to flag vases, mason jars, chalkboard frames and more!

If you’re looking to put a little sparkle in your step for this patriotic holiday, make sure you sport your reds, whites and blues, with this outfit inspiration from Polyvore.  This fun collection features a navy and white polka dotted shirt paired with classic blue jeans and Aviators.  Girl-up your outfit with a classy red watch, floral earrings, a pair of red shoes and a dressy handbag.  If it gets a little cool, keep a white sweater handy to complete the look.
