Now is the time to start planning on a beach trip! Whenever I get to thinking about a beach trip, of course the first thing you are thinking about is what to wear! You start tanning before so you don’t get super burned when laying out in the sun for the first time, don’t forget the sunscreen! And who can forget the awesome new swimsuit to purchase, trying them on is of course the worst part because nothing seems to work when thinking about the waves possibly washing it off, whoops! Or maybe, you are like me and have too many swimsuits already and just want a cover up or something if you aren’t comfortable bearing it all for strangers.
You might be thinking of having a seafood boil at your beach house, because how can you be at the beach and not eat seafood?! Well of course you will need invitations for that! Our lovely beach-like invitations have you covered with vibrant colors, which are totally IN this season for summer invitations and decorations!
You have to set the beach party mood with some awesome decorations. This lantern walkway really makes me want to just sit down on a lawn chair, toes in the sand and chill, watching the boats go by and staring at the bright moon. They are so easy to make with paper bags and battery candles (to prevent fires of course, because let’s face it, nothing makes people run away from a party like an unintended fire). Also don’t forget the hanging lanterns, beach ball decorations, flamingos, etc…
You want your guests to be hydrated, so it is important to provide refreshments and drinks on hand. At the end of your party, make sure each adult guests gets a refreshing and healthy dessert with fruit-filled popsicles These pops are super easy to make. They are super healthy too! All it takes is 3/4 cup Barefoot Bubbly Berry Fusion, 3/4 cup Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry Champagne, and 8-10 oz of mixed berries, apples and pomegranate arils. Directions: Fill half of popsicles wells half way up with Barefoot Bubbly Berry Fusion and the other popsicles wells half way up with Bubbly Extra Dry Champagne. Layer each well with a variety of fruit. Cover top of popsicle mold with foil. Create a hole in the center of each well just large enough to insert a popsicle stick; insert popsicle stick. Transfer to freezer and chill until frozen solid, about 2-4 hours (time may vary according to freezer type and how full it is). We will give the kids koolaid ♥
And don’t forget the food and beverages!!
These towel holders are really cool to have, that way guests aren’t trying to keep up with their towels, they can reuse them and they aren’t just for towels, you can organize your pool noodles and arm floaties too! Wow, how did I not think of this?! All you need is some PVC pipe.
At the end of the party, you want to make sure to thank your guests for coming and maybe send the kids home with a special present for the drive home. I suggest something as simple as bubble wands! It isn’t messy and the parents will thank you for giving something that will keep them occupied for a while.
