If you turned on the TV yesterday to NFL football, I’m sure you noticed the many football players sporting pink as part of their jerseys, gloves, footballs, helmets and socks in an effort to kick off and support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual health campaign organized by breast cancer charities held each October. The purpose is to educate, raise awareness and build funds for research into the cause, prevention, treatment and finding a cure for this horrible disease which affects thousands upon thousands of men and women each year.
The American Cancer Society has estimated that in 2011 there will be about 230,480 new cases of breast cancer in women, and 39,520 deaths. That’s 270,000 people that are affected by this horrible disease, not to mention their families and friends. It’s someone’s mother, daughter, grandmother or sister that may have to face breast cancer in their lives, and it’s our job to help find a cure for this horrible disease so that it doesn’t happen to us, or someone we love and care for.
At InvitationBox.com, we offer products to help you spread breast cancer awareness, whether it’s for a charity you’re running, an organization you’re supporting or your own fight to spread awareness because you’ve been affected by breast cancer in one way or another. We offer a breast cancer awareness invitation, from William Arthur, called the Dotted Border Pink Invitation, which features a flat invitation with breast cancer pink inspired trim. An embossed dots trim frames the card and the famous breast cancer ribbon motif adorns the left side of the card next to your text. This invitation is perfect for breast cancer awareness charity events or corporate events.
We also offer four different breast cancer awareness self-inking snap stamps by Noteworthy Collections which will help you spread breast cancer awareness wherever possible. Spread awareness on your corporate flyers, the back of your mailing envelopes or on favors for charity events. The Snap Stamps feature the breast cancer awareness ribbon in four different styles, including a reverse-style ink stamp, as well as a heart design at the bottom of the breast cancer awareness ribbon.
